About Serena

I was a competitive figure skater for 15 years. Spent 2-3 hours in the Rink training every day to make it to the highest possible level I could. All while playing hockey for 4 years during this time also. As my career of figure skating started to slow down and my hockey career stopped I approached the Coaching side of the sport. Becoming certified and coaching figure skating for 5 years I decided my heart was turning towards the hockey side of things. Completing my Power skating course and becoming certified was my dream goal. At first I was unsure how I would accomplish my goal of opening camps and training players on a daily basis, but my clientele grew and my passion for the sport grew. I started with being asked by local teams if I would do a few week sessions with their players and soon my name and business grew. Without my figure skating background and hockey background I would not have the skill level or the ability to do what I do today.
